What You'll Do10

  • 1Deliver individualized and small-group speech and language therapy to students with IEPs across K–8, targeting receptive and expressive language, articulation, phonological processing, fluency, and social-pragmatic skills.
  • 2Design and implement Social Club programming for Autistic students using Social Thinking® methodologies.
  • 3Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations, screenings, and assessments to identify communication disorders.
  • 4Develop, write, and update IEP goals and present levels of performance in collaboration with the IEP team.
  • 5Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential records including session notes, progress reports, and compliance documentation.
  • 6Ensure therapy and documentation adhere to IDEA regulations and school policies.
  • 7Provide support to general education and special education staff with classroom strategies and interventions for at-risk students.
  • 8Participate actively in student support meetings, IEP meetings, and family consultations.
  • 9Collaborate with school leaders, teachers, and other specialists to ensure holistic support for students.
  • 10Attend and contribute to weekly team meetings and supervision with an experienced SLP team manager, plus engage in monthly consultation with a Social Thinking® trainer.

Requirements8

  • 1Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders.
  • 2Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP; Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply.
  • 3TSSLD Certification required.
  • 4Experience supporting school-aged students with disabilities, especially Autistic learners.
  • 5Familiarity with Michelle Garcia Winner's Social Thinking® curriculum.
  • 6Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • 7Bilingual proficiency strongly preferred.
  • 8Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
