Terms of Use

Last updated: August 2026

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By visiting nearskilljobs.com or using any feature of NearSkill Jobs(the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, your only option is to stop using the Site.

These Terms apply to anyone who uses the Site, including browsing job listings, submitting applications, contacting us, and reading content. You agree to follow all applicable US federal, state, and local laws while using the Site.

2. Use of the Website

NearSkill Jobs is a job discovery platform. We pull together listings from publicly available sources, organize them into a consistent format, and help you find opportunities that match what you are looking for. You can search, browse, and explore listings without creating an account.

You are responsible for any activity that occurs through your use of the Site. If you submit information through the Site — for example, when applying for a job — you are responsible for making sure that information is accurate and belongs to you.

Important

NearSkill Jobs is not an employer. We are not a staffing agency, a recruiter, or a hiring service. We do not employ anyone listed in the jobs you see here, and we do not make or influence hiring decisions. Our role is limited to surfacing opportunities and helping you discover them.

3. Job Listings and External Sources

The job listings you see on NearSkill Jobscome from a range of external sources — employer career pages, public job boards, company websites, and other publicly accessible places where jobs are posted. We aggregate and organize this information so you can evaluate opportunities in one place.

We do not create the listings ourselves (unless marked otherwise). We do not verify every detail of every listing. The employer or original source is responsible for the content of their postings, including the accuracy of the job description, salary information, requirements, and whether the position is still open.

A listing appearing on NearSkill Jobs does not mean we endorse that employer, guarantee the job exists, or vouch for the working conditions. We present what is publicly available and let you decide.

4. Applying to Jobs You Find Here

When you decide to apply for a job, one of two things will happen. In many cases, you will be directed to an external website — the employer’s career portal, the original job board, or a third-party application system. The application process, any information you provide, and any communication after that point happen between you and that external party. We do not control or monitor that process.

In some cases, you may submit an application through a form on our Site. When you do, we pass your application materials (including any resume or documents you upload) to the relevant employer or job source. Once transmitted, we do not control what the recipient does with that information.

We make no guarantees about whether your application will be reviewed, whether you will hear back, or what the outcome will be. Those decisions rest with the employer or hiring entity.

5. Accuracy of Listings

We work to present listings in a consistent format. But job postings change. Positions get filled. Employers update requirements. Salary ranges shift. By the time you see a listing, details may have changed at the source.

We do not warrant that any listing is accurate, complete, or current. If something looks off — a salary range that seems wrong, a description that does not match the title, a listing for a position that appears to be closed — we encourage you to check the employer’s own website or contact them before relying on the information.

If you spot a listing that appears fraudulent, misleading, or otherwise problematic, please let us know at [email protected]. We will look into it.

6. Third-Party Websites and External Links

The Site contains links to websites we do not own or control — employer career pages, application portals, company websites, and other external destinations. These links are provided for convenience. They are not endorsements.

When you leave NearSkill Jobs, you are subject to the terms and privacy practices of the site you land on. We have no say over what happens there. We recommend reviewing the terms and privacy policy of any external site before sharing personal information or submitting an application. We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or issue that arises from your use of a third-party site, even if you reached it through a link on ours.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Site to do any of the following:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, including fake resumes, made-up identities, or applications you have no intention of following through on.
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Site using automated tools, bots, or scripts without our prior written permission.
  • Attempt to interfere with how the Site works — this includes probing for vulnerabilities, launching denial-of-service attacks, uploading malware, or bypassing security measures.
  • Use the Site for anything illegal under US federal, state, or local law.
  • Impersonate another person, company, or organization.
  • Post or transmit content that is harassing, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or discriminatory.
  • Use the Site to send spam, unsolicited commercial messages, chain letters, or any form of unauthorized advertising.

8. Intellectual Property

The NearSkill Jobs name, logo, domain, website design, user interface, software, and all original content created by us are our intellectual property. They are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of the United States. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from them without our written permission.

Job listing content — including employer names, logos, job descriptions, and requirements — belongs to the respective employers or original sources. Resumes, profiles, and application materials you submit belong to you, subject to the rights you grant us to transmit them for the purpose of processing your application. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your content to us.

9. Disclaimers of Warranty

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no promises about its uptime, performance, or freedom from errors. We do not guarantee that the Site will be accessible at all times, that it will work on a given device or browser, or that it is free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that any job listing is accurate, that any employer will respond to your application, or that your use of the Site will lead to employment.

Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion of certain warranties. If you live in such a jurisdiction, some of these disclaimers may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NearSkill Jobsand its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site. This includes, but is not limited to, lost wages or employment opportunities, lost profits, loss of data, business interruption, or any other commercial or personal loss — regardless of the legal theory, and even if we were advised of the possibility.

If we are found liable for any claim related to your use of the Site, our total aggregate liability will not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100.00). This limitation applies to all claims combined, not per claim.

Some jurisdictions limit how far liability can be restricted. In those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent the law allows.

11. Changes to the Service

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Site at any time without notice. This includes adding or removing features, changing how listings are displayed, adjusting the sources we pull from, or taking the Site offline for maintenance. We are not liable to you or any third party if the Site changes, becomes unavailable, or shuts down.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be announced with a notice on the Site or via email if you have provided one.

By continuing to use the Site after changes are posted, you accept the updated Terms. If you disagree with the changes, your remedy is to stop using the Site.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Before filing any formal legal action, we ask that you contact us first at [email protected] and give us an opportunity to resolve the issue outside of court. We will do the same if we have a concern about your use of the Site.

The Site is operated from the United States and is intended for users seeking opportunities in the United States. If you access the Site from another country, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for complying with local laws to the extent they apply.
