Overview
We seek a Senior Mechanical Engineer with PE license leading mechanical/HVAC design for mission critical facilities like data centers. This fully remote role offers competitive salary and benefits. What You'll Do9
- 1Lead mechanical/HVAC design for mission critical facilities including data centers and colocation environments
- 2Perform complex engineering calculations system sizing code analysis and equipment selection
- 3Develop mechanical plans specifications and technical reports ensuring compliance with ASHRAE NFPA IMC IECC and Uptime Institute Tier standards
- 4Review shop drawings submittals and RFIs providing construction administration support
- 5Serve as primary client contact managing project scope schedule budget and staffing from kickoff to closeout
- 6Lead multidisciplinary coordination with electrical plumbing fire protection and technology teams
- 7Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
- 8Conduct QA/QC reviews to ensure technical accuracy and maintain documentation throughout execution
- 9Drive efficiency identify improvement opportunities and manage project proposals planning and workload forecasting
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with MSME preferred and PE license required
- 2Minimum 8 years of lead mechanical engineering experience in MEP consulting
- 3Mission critical project experience required specifically in data centers or equivalent high-availability facilities
- 4Proven ability to manage projects of varying size and complexity
- 5Proficiency with AutoCAD Revit Trane Trace Carrier HAP and other HVAC modeling tools
