You will own the electrical design for hyperscale data center projects, directly supporting the world's largest technology companies. As a senior member of the team, you will lead the development of power systems, from initial calculations to final documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure mission-critical reliability. What You'll Do8

  • 1Design electrical power systems for data center projects, including calculations for load, fault current, and voltage drop, using ETAP and SKM.
  • 2Develop single-line diagrams, equipment specifications, and technical reports to guide construction and installation.
  • 3Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  • 4Serve as the primary electrical point of contact for clients, translating needs into actionable engineering solutions.
  • 5Conduct site visits and investigations to troubleshoot electrical issues, providing resolutions that minimize downtime.
  • 6Mentor junior engineers and technicians, sharing expertise in data center power design and compliance.
  • 7Lead design reviews and ensure adherence to NEC codes and project specifications.
  • 8Prepare and present technical documentation to stakeholders, including clients and project management.

Requirements7

  • 110+ years of electrical engineering experience, with a focus on power systems design.
  • 2Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited program.
  • 3Active PE license required.
  • 4Able to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • 5Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
  • 6Proven ability to investigate and troubleshoot electrical problems, delivering practical solutions.
  • 7Experience in the data center industry is preferred, but not required.
