Senior Load Integration Engineer, Power Systems
Overview
You will own grid integration for Crusoe's large-load AI facilities, from interconnection studies through technical compliance. You will run power flow and deliverability studies across ERCOT, SPP, MISO, and PJM, working with a team of energy experts. This role bridges power systems engineering and cloud infrastructure, giving you direct impact on how AI compute scales. You will shape how Crusoe connects to the grid, not just execute tasks.
What You'll Do6
- 1Run grid integration studies for large-load facilities, ensuring technical data accuracy.
- 2Perform power flow studies and support interconnection applications for new sites.
- 3Manage transmission injection and load deliverability studies in SPP and MISO.
- 4Draft technical specifications for grid interconnection, working with internal teams.
- 5Support business development with technical analysis for proposals.
- 6Track industry trends and attend conferences to inform grid strategy.
Requirements6
- 1Master's degree in Power Systems with 3+ years experience, or Bachelor's with 7+ years.
- 23+ years in transmission planning, interconnection studies, or system modeling.
- 3Strong working knowledge of SPP or MISO interconnection procedures.
- 4Working knowledge of TARA, PSS/e, and Sugar.
- 5Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- 6Experience with ERCOT or other ISO/RTO markets (bonus).
