What You'll Do9
- 1Serve as primary technical liaison connecting internal and external cross functional teams to align on data requirements
- 2Co-pilot to Product Management defining Model Ingestion User Journey and Functional Requirements
- 3Utilize internal ingestion tooling to convert grid models from industry comment file format into CIM format
- 4Provide operational feedback to Software Engineering improving tooling automation and bug resolution
- 5Validate ingested models meet explicit use-case requirements with technical data specifications
- 6Stage and deliver validated grid models into testing and production applications
- 7Conduct rigorous application-level testing verifying performance and coordinate user acceptance validation
- 8Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve data ingestion processes and model accuracy
- 9Collaborate with partners across U.S. U.K. Chile New Zealand Australia Brazil to scale grid platform impact
Requirements11
- 1Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Power Systems or related technical field
- 25+ years experience in power systems modeling and analysis
- 3Deep technical understanding of power system topologies and CIM standard with data conversion experience
- 4Proficiency in power system analysis software and GIS operational datasets
- 5Experience with scientific programming languages Matlab Python JAX C++ Julia and willingness to expand into new coding domains
- 6Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills
- 7Comfort navigating modern software environments interacting with data layers using ingestion tools
- 8Track record of delivering scalable solutions to complex software problems
- 9Experience in startup or high-growth environments
- 10Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering Power Systems or related field
- 11Familiarity with open-source power systems tools libraries or data repositories
