Senior Living Caregiver - Part Time
Overview
We seek a compassionate caregiver to provide hands-on support within our Independent Living Assisted Living Memory Care communities. You will create a nurturing home-like environment while fostering resident independence and well-being.
What You'll Do9
- 1Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas
- 2Assist with daily living activities including bathing dressing toileting grooming ambulation transferring eating
- 3Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities
- 4Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- 5Document resident needs and progress accurately
- 6Support family communication regarding resident status
- 7Implement safety protocols to prevent falls and accidents
- 8Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions
- 9Participate in wellness programs to enhance resident quality of life
Requirements9
- 11 year experience in assisted living settings
- 2High School diploma or GED required
- 3Age 18 or older
- 4Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred
- 5Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents staff and families
- 6Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- 7Demonstrated judgment and problem-solving abilities
- 8Experience handling diverse resident needs
- 9Commitment to creating supportive and respectful living environments
Salary Insight
$20 - $21k per year
