What You'll Do6
- 1Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs
- 2Help with housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and dishes
- 3Engage residents in meaningful conversations and provide attentive care
- 4Recognize individual needs and encourage independence for each senior
- 5Document care provided and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- 6Support residents in dining and activities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment
Requirements6
- 11+ year of experience in caregiving or related field preferred
- 2Completion of state-approved training or certification as required by state regulations
- 3Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods
- 4High school diploma or equivalent
- 5Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- 6Compassionate and patient demeanor with a commitment to resident dignity
