Part-Time Caregiver Dementia Memory Care
Overview
We seek calm attentive caregivers who notice subtle changes in dementia residents. This role involves providing hands-on ADL support and emotional care while monitoring conditions and communicating observations. What You'll Do11
- 1Provide hands-on ADL and emotional support for dementia residents
- 2Assist with toileting repositioning hygiene continence care mobility transfers showering eating
- 3Monitor and respond to changes in condition behavior comfort gait sleep patterns alertness
- 4Prevent falls and reduce confusion or agitation
- 5Support residents with reassurance redirection companionship
- 6Maintain clean safe organized environment
- 7Document care accurately and communicate observations to leadership nurses and incoming shifts
- 8Collaborate with nurses and caregivers as part of integrated care team
- 9Perform essential functions including assisting transfers repositioning ambulation mobility with reasonable accommodation
- 10Lift or assist with up to 50 pounds as required
- 11Work consistently on every-other-weekend schedule with additional PRN opportunities
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2CPC Card or equivalent certification
- 3AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
- 4BCBA credential preferred
- 55+ years experience in memory care assisted living skilled nursing home care
- 6Ability to perform essential functions including assisting residents with transfers repositioning ambulation mobility
- 7Physical requirement to lift or assist with up to 50 pounds
- 8Reliable punctual commitment to every-other-weekend schedule
- 9Strong communication and teamwork skills
- 10Compassionate respectful approach to dementia care
- 11Attention to detail and ability to document care accurately
