Senior Commercial Construction Project Manager, $10M-$50M+ Projects
Overview
Own and deliver high-profile commercial ground-up and tenant improvement projects from pre-construction through closeout at scale. Lead teams, mentor project managers, and maintain client relationships to ensure on-time, on-budget results. Report to the Director of Construction and influence both projects and people in a hybrid Phoenix-based role. This role emphasizes accountability, collaboration, and a strong safety and quality culture.
What You'll Do10
- 1Direct all phases of construction projects from pre-construction planning to closeout
- 2Manage budgets, forecasting, pay apps, change orders, and cost controls to achieve financial targets
- 3Develop and maintain schedules and ensure milestones are met by teams and subcontractors
- 4Coordinate with Development, Estimating, and Accounting to align resources
- 5Lead and mentor Project Managers, Coordinators, and field staff to grow capabilities
- 6Serve as primary client and stakeholder contact, including trade partners and consultants
- 7Identify risks, resolve conflicts, and implement corrective actions to stay on track
- 8Uphold safety, quality, and compliance standards across projects
- 9Provide regular reporting to leadership and stakeholders
- 10Foster a culture of accountability and client satisfaction
Requirements5
- 110+ years of progressive experience in commercial construction project management
- 2Experience managing ground-up projects in the $10M-$50M+ range
- 3Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or equivalent
- 4Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- 5Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
Salary Insight
$125 - $165k per year
