What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain a high-quality client experience from preconstruction through warranty, ensuring consistent communication and delivery.
- 2Serve as the primary liaison between the project owner and construction team, fostering strong relationships and clear updates.
- 3Develop and manage the overall construction schedule, identifying and resolving conflicts to keep projects on track.
- 4Track project costs and update job cost reports to ensure accurate financial forecasting and control.
- 5Lead Owner/Architect/Engineer (O/A/E) meetings, documenting decisions and action items to align stakeholders.
- 6Process change events and prepare change orders, ensuring proper documentation, pricing, and approval.
- 7Review and approve subcontractor pay applications and invoices, verifying accuracy against contract terms and progress.
- 8Assist the superintendent with site logistics and on-site management to support efficient operations.
- 9Champion site safety by reinforcing safety standards and participating in safety initiatives.
- 10Coordinate RFIs, change orders, and project documentation with internal and external teams, keeping records organized.
Requirements10
- 110+ years of construction project management experience, with a focus on commercial, healthcare, or municipal projects.
- 2Proven track record managing projects worth $10M or more, with capability for $25M+ projects.
- 3Demonstrated success delivering projects valued at $20M+ from start to finish.
- 4Expertise in construction cost management, including budgeting, cost control, and financial forecasting.
- 5Advanced skills in scheduling, able to develop and adjust complex project schedules.
- 6Experience in estimating and purchasing, including bidding, contract negotiation, and procurement.
- 7Solid understanding of engineering practices and construction management principles.
- 8Hands-on experience with RFI and change order management throughout the project lifecycle.
- 9Strong presentation and communication skills with owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
- 10Ability to interpret construction documents, specifications, and engineering drawings.
