Self Storage Manager, Customer Service & Sales
Overview
You will own daily operations at multiple Public Storage facilities, driving revenue through customer assessments and supply sales. You will work independently, splitting time between interior tasks and outdoor property walks. What You'll Do7
- 1Assess customer storage needs and recommend solutions, selling packing and moving supplies to boost revenue.
- 2Inspect storage units daily to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces are ready to rent.
- 3Audit cash drawers and process bank deposits, maintaining accurate daily financial records.
- 4Manage customer accounts by processing payments and making reminder and collection calls when needed.
- 5Transport and lift items up to 35 pounds during moves and setup, including climbing stairs and opening large doors.
- 6Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, sweeping and mopping interiors and keeping exterior grounds clean and free of debris.
- 7Travel between multiple Public Storage locations using your own vehicle, with mileage reimbursement provided.
Requirements5
- 1Customer service experience from retail, restaurant, fast food, or similar service-based roles.
- 2Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for travel between work locations.
- 3Ability to walk and stand for up to 50% of the shift in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs.
- 4Physical capability to lift and move items up to 35 pounds.
- 5Flexibility to work full-time schedules between 9:30am and 6pm, including weekends until 5pm.
