Store Manager, Self-Storage Operations
Overview
Lead daily operations of self-storage facilities ensuring cleanliness and financial accuracy. Build customer relationships and drive sales through rentals and services. Manage staff and ensure compliance with company standards.
What You'll Do11
- 1Build and maintain strong customer relationships by identifying storage needs and providing tailored solutions
- 2Maximize sales objectives through unit rentals unit insurance and moving supplies
- 3Ensure cleanliness standards via sweeping mopping grounds maintenance and interior/exterior upkeep
- 4Perform daily site safety inspections including lock checks
- 5Address customer concerns related to billing security auctions and proper site usage
- 6Handle cash transactions balance receipts follow up on delinquent payments process payments and complete bank deposits
- 7Oversee administrative tasks including auction files and budget monitoring
- 8Protect company culture by fostering professional relationships with employees
- 9Perform additional duties as assigned
- 10Maintain accurate financial records and controls
- 11Supervise staff and provide guidance on operational procedures
Requirements10
- 12+ years of customer-facing work experience
- 2Leadership experience preferred
- 3Sale experience preferred
- 4Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
- 5High School diploma or GED required
- 6College education is a plus
- 7Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
- 8Experience in retail or hospitality environments
- 9Strong communication and problem-solving skills
