Assistant Store Manager - Self Storage Operations
Overview
Own daily store operations at one or more self storage locations guiding cleanliness, customer interactions, and sales processes. Lead a structured sales approach while maintaining facility standards and safety. Collaborate with District and Store Managers to deliver operational excellence and strong customer relationships. What You'll Do8
- 1Build and maintain strong customer relationships by identifying storage needs and providing tailored solutions
- 2Maximize sales objectives through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies
- 3Ensure highest cleanliness standards through ongoing maintenance of the site including office and exterior
- 4Perform daily site safety inspections including lock checks
- 5Address and resolve customer concerns related to billing, security, and site usage
- 6Handle cash transactions, balance receipts, follow up on delinquent payments, and complete daily deposits
- 7Protect company culture by maintaining professional relationships with all employees
- 8Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements5
- 11+ year of customer-facing work experience
- 2Current valid driver’s license and access to reliable personal vehicle
- 3High School diploma or GED
- 4Sales experience preferred
- 5Able to perform indoor and outdoor duties with varying physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs
