Assistant Store Manager, Self-Storage Operations

You will own the daily operations of a high-volume self-storage facility, driving sales conversion and ensuring a spotless, secure environment. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will mentor assistant managers and execute marketing strategies. What You'll Do7
- 1Convert customer inquiries into immediate storage rentals through persuasive sales techniques and engaging facility tours.
- 2Maintain the facility's cleanliness and curb appeal, conducting daily inspections to ensure premium presentation.
- 3Implement marketing plans and establish a visible presence in local professional associations and community functions.
- 4Mentor and empower assistant managers, sharing your sales acumen to elevate the team's performance.
- 5Execute operational procedures to streamline rent collections, fee management, and accounting with transparency.
- 6Proactively manage delinquent accounts and maintain precise records using Keyboarding and company software.
- 7Drive your own sales growth by participating in tailored training sessions and industry events.
Requirements7
- 1High School diploma or GED (college education preferred).
- 2Proven experience in management, leasing, retail, or operations.
- 3Exceptional customer service skills with a competitive spirit and desire to drive sales.
- 4Energetic and open to new ideas, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 5Full availability, including weekends, and willingness to complete light maintenance and property upkeep.
- 6Valid driver's license with access to reliable transportation.
- 7Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform physical tasks like bending, reaching, and climbing.
