Residential Support Worker (MHRT1) - Shalom House
Overview
You will support adults with chronic mental health diagnoses in a Portland group home, helping them build independence and community connections. You'll join a team of case managers and therapists, with MHRT1 certification offered on-site. Requirements7
- 11+ year supporting individuals with mental health diagnoses, especially chronic or persistent conditions.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in social work, psych, or related field is a plus.
- 3MHRT1 certification preferred; Shalom House will sponsor training if not yet certified.
- 4Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- 5Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- 6Ability to work independently and adapt to flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- 7Team-player attitude with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.
