What You'll Do7

  • 1Guide residents through daily skills building activities to foster independence
  • 2Develop and implement individual treatment plans in collaboration with the care team
  • 3Assist with meal preparation, money management, and doctor’s appointments to support daily living
  • 4Partner with residents to improve health and wellness, achieve symptom stabilization, and restore skills impacted by mental illness
  • 5Maintain staff-to-client ratio to ensure safety and compliance
  • 6Build supportive relationships with residents through consistent, respectful engagement
  • 7Provide side-by-side coaching to help residents socialize and engage in their community

Requirements6

  • 1High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • 20-6 years related experience in direct support, child care, elder care, or mental health settings
  • 3Valid Driver’s License
  • 4Must be or become MAP certified
  • 5Must be or become CPR/First Aid certified within five months of hire
  • 6Experience with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness or substance use disorder preferred
