Property Preservation Contractor, NY HUD & REO Services
Overview
Own and execute property preservation tasks for NY REO and HUD properties at scale across Chautauqua, Cattaraugus and Erie counties. Work within a team of on site specialists delivering timely preservation, appearance and safety improvements. Contribute to property readiness by performing standard duties, reporting with photos and bids, and meeting client deadlines.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and perform winterizations, lawn maintenance, debris removal, lock changes and initial services for distressed properties
- 2Board and convey properties to required condition and conduct general minor repairs to restore usability
- 3Prepare professional estimates for repair or replacement items upon request
- 4Coordinate with property owners and clients to ensure timely completion and documentation in reporting
- 5Ship and complete tasks using own equipment, supplies and HUD lock inventory to maintain readiness
- 6Drive property readiness by documenting results with photos, bids and reports for each site
- 7Own scheduling and on site execution to meet biweekly payment cycles
- 8Scale operations by maintaining inventory and equipment across multiple counties in NY
- 9Drive safety and compliance with client requirements and preserve property integrity
- 10Improve reporting quality and turnaround times through accurate, detailed field reports
Requirements10
- 1Must have own transportation and equipment with inventory of HUD locks and regular materials
- 2Experience performing standard preservation duties including winterizations, lawn maintenance, debris removal, lock changes, initial services and boarding
- 3Ability to prepare estimates for repair or replacement items on request
- 4Detail oriented in reporting results with photos, bids and other documents
- 5Ability to meet client deadlines and maintain on site execution across NY counties
- 6Must be willing to work onsite full time in NY Chautauqua, Cattaraugus & Erie counties
- 7Excellent communication and coordination with clients and property owners
- 8Ability to bid on projects and adhere to provided budgets
- 9Previous property preservation or REO contractor experience preferred
- 10High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license and clean driving record
