Overview

Own onboarding logistics, HRIS administration, and process documentation for a California multi-site employer. Lead end-to-end new hire experiences for Cypress and Redondo Beach facilities and maintain accurate HR records. Collaborate with the People Team on program rollouts and cross-functional projects to enable fast, compliant people operations. This role combines administrative operations with policy translation and documentation to scale our growing manufacturing organization.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Build and own end-to-end onboarding logistics for Cypress and Redondo Beach facilities, including scheduling, paperwork, and Day One coordination
  • 2Design and deliver new hire orientations and training materials in collaboration with the People Team
  • 3Administer and maintain the HRIS (Rippling) data entry for hires, changes, and separations with audit readiness
  • 4Translate People policies into finished process documentation, FAQs, and job aids
  • 5Maintain and update People Team documentation and intranet pages as processes evolve
  • 6Coordinate logistics for People Team program rollouts and cross-functional projects from planning to completion
  • 7Provide general administrative support to the People Team and handle employee inquiries
  • 8Support compliance initiatives and reporting under guidance of HR leadership
  • 9Assist with other duties as assigned

Requirements10

  • 1Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent combination considered
  • 2Minimum three years of experience independently owning onboarding logistics, HRIS administration, and process documentation for a California employer
  • 3Experience administering an HRIS platform in production (Rippling strongly preferred)
  • 4Experience building onboarding checklists, process documentation, or job aids for an HR team
  • 5Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal oversight
  • 6Working knowledge of California employment law fundamentals
  • 7Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • 8Discretion and sound judgment handling confidential employee information
  • 9SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent HR certification preferred
  • 10Experience supporting onboarding or HRIS in a manufacturing environment
