Overview

HR Generalist leading employee relations, onboarding, retention, and safety across Mesa Manufacturing. Own the full lifecycle for a hybrid on-site role in a fast-growing food production company. Partner with Operations leadership to foster a compliant, engaging workplace at scale. This position is highly visible, working across shifts and facilities to support a positive employee experience.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build trust with employees across all shifts and departments to address concerns with confidentiality and sound judgment
  • 2Lead workplace investigations and support corrective action processes to improve retention and performance
  • 3Coach supervisors on employee relations, performance management, attendance, and accountability
  • 4Conduct stay and exit interviews to identify trends and improve retention and engagement
  • 5Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, and orientation programs for Mesa Manufacturing roles
  • 6Support implementation of retention strategies and first-year milestones to improve new hire retention
  • 7Manage New Hire Buddy Program and Employee Experience Coordinator program
  • 8Track retention metrics and identify opportunities to enhance employee engagement
  • 9Oversee workers' compensation, incident reporting, and return-to-work processes with Operations leadership
  • 10Maintain OSHA records, safety documentation, and training records as required

Requirements10

  • 1Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • 24-7 years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • 3Minimum 2 years of onsite HR experience supporting manufacturing or similar environment
  • 4Experience with employee relations, workplace investigations, corrective actions, attendance management, and performance management
  • 5Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field preferred
  • 6Experience administering workers' compensation claims and safety-related processes preferred
  • 7Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent) preferred
  • 8Experience using HRIS systems preferred
  • 9Strong communication, relationship-building, conflict resolution, and organizational skills
  • 10Ability to manage multiple priorities with confidentiality and sound judgment
