Overview

Owns strategic and operational HR support for CookUnity's Operations teams across multiple sites with a hybrid in LA and occasional travel to Seattle. This role drives talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and leadership development for exempt and large hourly populations. Collaborates with leaders to build an engaging, inclusive, high-performing culture and partners across Talent, Payroll, Benefits, and Legal to manage the full employee lifecycle.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and coach leaders on performance management, organizational design, and leadership effectiveness to strengthen team outcomes
  • 2Partner with Operations leaders on workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives to support business goals
  • 3Use data and business insights to recommend people strategies that align with organizational objectives
  • 4Provide guidance on employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations to mitigate risk
  • 5Foster a positive, inclusive, high-performing culture and ensure compliance with employment laws and policies
  • 6Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, and Legal to manage onboarding, promotions, transfers, leaves, relocations, and immigration
  • 7Analyze turnover trends through exit interviews and implement retention strategies to improve retention
  • 8Support organizational change initiatives and drive employee engagement initiatives across multiple markets
  • 9Prepare and manage employment documentation and HR records ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
  • 10Maintain HR processes and systems to support efficient operations and compliance

Requirements8

  • 15+ years of HR Generalist or HR Business Partner experience in fast-paced environments with preference for manufacturing, production, warehouse, or logistics
  • 2Strong employee relations experience including performance management, investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
  • 3Experience supporting large hourly and frontline employee populations
  • 4Excellent knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
  • 5Experience with HRIS platforms such as Rippling, Workday, or ADP
  • 6Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • 7Ability to build trusted relationships and influence leaders at all levels
  • 8Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
