HR Coordinator, Manufacturing & Employee Relations
Overview
Own HR operations for a manufacturing site in Fremont, CA, supporting 250+ employees across recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and benefits. Partner with managers and leadership to drive employee engagement and retention. This role offers direct hire status, a collaborative team, and a chance to shape HR processes from day one.
What You'll Do6
- 1Manage recruiting lifecycle: post jobs, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and support hiring decisions.
- 2Coordinate onboarding and orientation: prepare offer letters, process I-9s, and update HRIS records with accuracy.
- 3Support employee relations: address employee questions, mediate workplace concerns, and foster a positive culture.
- 4Administer performance reviews, improvement plans, and training programs to drive development.
- 5Assist with benefits administration: enrollments, COBRA, and compliance reporting.
- 6Drive engagement initiatives: design satisfaction surveys, analyze results, and implement action plans to boost morale.
Requirements6
- 13-5 years in HR coordination, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- 2Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
- 3Strong knowledge of California labor laws and EEOC regulations.
- 4Proficiency with HRIS systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- 5Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- 6Ability to handle sensitive employee data with confidentiality and professionalism.
