Overview

Coordinate HR, administration, and safety support at a manufacturing site in North Kansas City, MO. Own onboarding for all new hires, including pre-employment testing, biometric timeclock setup, and benefits enrollment. Support compliance with AIMS, ISO9001, and ISO45001 standards. Manage SAP requisitions and serve as the primary backup to HESQ Specialists. This 6-month W2 contract offers a path to full-time conversion.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Coordinate pre-hire requirements and manage the new hire onboarding process, including orientation, pre-employment testing, background screenings, and biometric timeclock setup.
  • 2Assign employee IDs, order FR uniforms, assign lockers, coordinate workspace setup, and provide computer access, email accounts, and required software.
  • 3Support compliance with AIMS, ISO9001, and ISO45001 policies, including documentation for HR audits and AIMS Element 2.
  • 4Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salary non-exempt employees using SAP HRMS and maintain HR data and files, including I-9 and E-Verify documentation.
  • 5Support SAP requisitioning and invoice processing, preparing and releasing blankets and individual requisitions, and ordering supplies with a P-Card.
  • 6Serve as Document Control Administrator for SharePoint, eDMS, physical library, and W: drive, and organize plant meetings and site events.
  • 7Serve as primary backup to HESQ Specialists, performing weekly inspections of eyewash stations, safety showers, emergency shelters, and spill kits, plus monthly inspections of AEDs, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits.
  • 8Coordinate community relations events, wellness initiatives, tuition reimbursement paperwork, and administrative billing for HR vendors.
  • 9Maintain inventory of PPE and other safety supplies for the HES department.

Requirements6

  • 12-3 years of experience in a manufacturing office environment.
  • 2Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • 3Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • 4Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • 5SAP experience is preferred.
  • 6Experience with SharePoint and document control is a plus.
