Overview

The HRIS Specialist will own HRIS data entry, onboarding, and policy enforcement at scale within an onsite team of 10 in a manufacturing setting. You will support HR Generalists with complex admin tasks, maintain confidential employee records, and coordinate leave processing. You’ll serve as a primary point of contact for HR inquiries and help drive process improvements. This role blends data accuracy, regulatory awareness, and hands on HR operations to enable smooth people processes.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Build and maintain day to day operations of the HRIS including data integrity and reporting.
  • 2Support HR Generalists with complex admin tasks such as report generation job descriptions recruitment postings and leave of absence processing.
  • 3Maintain internal employee files and training records oversee transfers terminations and promotions.
  • 4Administer temporary employee records including auditing and orientation support.
  • 5Assist with exit interviews and new hire orientations.
  • 6Conduct research to address employee inquiries and ensure confidentiality of HR information including HIPAA considerations.
  • 7Collaborate with a 10 person HR team to implement process improvements in a manufacturing environment
  • 8Own the onboarding experience and onboarding documentation for new hires and transfers
  • 9Scale HR operations to support contract to hire arrangements and regulatory compliance

Requirements9

  • 1High school diploma required college degree preferred
  • 24+ years of HR related experience or training
  • 3Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite advanced Excel skills including pivot tables VLOOKUPs and chart creation
  • 4Proficiency in HRIS platforms with UKG experience preferred
  • 5Strong organizational skills and familiarity with state and federal employment law
  • 6Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • 7PHR certification preferred
  • 8Familiarity with HIPAA and US Export Control regulations ITAR/EAR
  • 9Background in manufacturing industry is a plus
