What You'll Do11
- 1Operate manual milling machines lathes and grinding equipment safely to meet production targets
- 2Collaborate with QC to establish first piece approval and develop in-process inspection plans
- 3Partner with programmers and engineers to resolve technical challenges
- 4Maintain accurate documentation in in-process inspection plans and ERP systems
- 5Keep work areas clean and organized while ensuring product integrity
- 6Identify process improvements and communicate findings to supervisors
- 7Report safety concerns and FOD incidents to department managers
- 8Perform cross-functional tasks including assembly cleaning and CNC machining when needed
- 9Demonstrate positive attitude and punctuality as part of a dedicated team
- 10Follow calibrated measurement protocols and notify quality if equipment requires recalibration
- 11Support other departments during workload fluctuations through flexible task allocation
Requirements9
- 12+ years experience using Bridgeport and TREK type mills manual lathes and surface or OD grinders
- 2Basic measuring skills with calipers micrometers test indicators and other hand tools
- 3Familiarity with GD&T principles and ability to interpret technical drawings
- 4Shift differential of 8% available for 2nd shift employees
- 5Knowledge of FOD prevention practices and incident reporting procedures
- 6Team-oriented mindset with proven ability to collaborate across functions
- 7Attention to detail in documenting work and maintaining traceability records
- 8Proficiency with manual machining processes and quality control standards
- 9Reliability and consistency in meeting production expectations
