What You'll Do8
- 1Operate and monitor assigned machinery according to established procedures and safety standards
- 2Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance
- 3Read and interpret blueprints work orders or production schedules to determine job instructions
- 4Inspect parts and finished products for quality and accuracy using measuring tools
- 5Record production data including output downtime and defects
- 6Adjust machine settings to maintain product specifications and minimize waste
- 7Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals
- 8Report mechanical issues or safety concerns to maintenance or supervisory staff
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or GED is a plus vocational or technical training preferred
- 2Previous experience in manufacturing production environments is a plus
- 3Experience operating mills or other metalworking machinery is highly desirable
- 4Familiarity with machining processes such as cutting drilling or grinding
- 5Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- 6Basic math and measurement skills
- 7Ability to read and interpret technical documents blueprints or schematics
- 8Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- 9Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed
