Maintenance Technician, Property Management & Hands-on Trades
Overview
Maintenance technician role overseeing apartment and property upkeep at a multi property portfolio in Phoenix. You will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, grounds, and preventative maintenance to keep properties safe and appealing. You will also support emergency response, safety programs, and resident interactions in a collaborative environment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and repair electrical, plumbing, appliances, and carpentry systems to uphold safety and curb appeal
- 2Inspect grounds, buildings, and common areas to identify maintenance issues and coordinate timely fixes
- 3Perform preventative maintenance including painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, elevator, and other building systems
- 4Maintain work order system ensuring timely completion and resident satisfaction
- 5Assist with emergencies and after-hours maintenance with adherence to response times and safety policies
- 6Communicate with maintenance leadership about issues, updates, and safety concerns
- 7Promote safety and risk management in compliance with regulations and company policies
- 8Foster positive relationships with residents, properties, and agencies to support a high quality experience
- 9Maintain professional appearance and adhere to uniform and safety standards
- 10Participate in on-call rotations and after-hours assignments as required
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2At least 1 year of maintenance or property management experience
- 3General maintenance and carpentry skills
- 4Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with current auto insurance
- 5Ability to read, write, and understand English and operate basic office equipment
