What You'll Do10

  • 1Make ready vacant units by repairing walls, replacing fixtures, and testing all systems.
  • 2Troubleshoot and fix HVAC issues, including AC and heating units, across the community.
  • 3Complete plumbing repairs such as faucets, toilets, and water heaters.
  • 4Diagnose electrical problems and replace outlets, switches, and breakers.
  • 5Perform preventative maintenance on building systems, including filters and belts.
  • 6Paint interiors and exteriors, and patch drywall as needed.
  • 7Respond to service requests and complete repairs within 24 hours.
  • 8Inspect units and common areas for safety hazards and code violations.
  • 9Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs and document all work completed.
  • 10Maintain grounds and curb appeal, including trash removal and minor landscaping.

Requirements8

  • 12+ years of multi-family property maintenance experience
  • 2HVAC certification or EPA 608 universal
  • 3Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
  • 4Ability to use hand and power tools safely
  • 5Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
  • 6Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on feet all day
  • 7Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • 8Available for weekend rotation and on-call
