Maintenance Technician, Property Management & Multifamily Systems
Overview
Maintenance Technician owns the physical condition and operation of the community at scale, handling day-to-day work orders, unit turns, emergency repairs, and preventive maintenance across building systems. You will work on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, and carpentry with hands-on skill and a service mindset in a fast-paced setting. This role supports resident experience with timely repairs, safety, and curb appeal, collaborating with the Maintenance Supervisor and team.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and complete work orders in a timely manner per company standards
- 2Troubleshoot and repair plumbing electrical HVAC appliances drywall and carpentry issues
- 3Respond to emergency maintenance calls, including after-hours on a rotating basis
- 4Assist with unit inspections and move-in move-out repairs
- 5Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment per schedule
- 6Maintain pools mechanical rooms and common areas in clean safe and operational condition
- 7Inspect buildings identify maintenance or safety concerns and communicate findings
- 8Support curb appeal by ensuring property is clean and well-kept
- 9Prepare rent-ready units on schedule to meet move-in commitments
- 10Assist with property projects and capital improvements as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor
Requirements7
- 1Working knowledge of plumbing electrical HVAC appliances drywall and carpentry
- 2Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 lbs and working at heights
- 3Ability to respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls on a rotating on-call basis
- 4Valid driver`s license and reliable transportation
- 5EPA 608 Certification (preferred) or HVAC trade certification or license
- 6Pool Operator Certification (CPO)
- 7Experience with property management software such as AppFolio Yardi RealPage
