Maintenance Technician, Hotel Operations & CPO Training
Overview
Owns daily upkeep of guestrooms, public areas, equipment, and exterior spaces for a safe, clean hotel environment. Leads preventative maintenance, responds to requests, and coordinates room maintenance with Front Desk and Management. Performs basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lock and door hardware repairs, and maintains laundry and cleaning equipment. Works onsite in Phoenix with day shifts, weekends, and occasional evenings.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build preventative maintenance programs for guestrooms and public areas
- 2Repair basic electrical components such as switches outlets and light fixtures and reset breakers
- 3Address plumbing issues including unclogging sinks and toilets and replacing seals and gaskets
- 4Maintain HVAC systems by changing filters and monitoring performance
- 5Maintain pool and spa chemicals and equipment and perform pool maintenance
- 6Assist with exterior upkeep including trash removal lighting landscaping and property appearance
- 7Inspect maintenance areas tools and inventory and keep them organized
- 8Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders and coordinate schedules with Front Desk and Management
Requirements8
- 1High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 2Prior hotel or general maintenance experience preferred
- 3Basic knowledge of plumbing electrical HVAC and general repairs
- 4Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- 5Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- 6Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- 7Valid Driver’s License required
- 8CPO Certification preferred or willingness to obtain
