You own maintenance and repair for a busy Nashville hotel, keeping HVAC, electrical, and plumbing running with minimal downtime. What You'll Do10
- 1Repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration equipment to cut downtime.
- 2Replace light fixtures and bulbs across guest rooms, lobby, and exterior.
- 3Run scheduled inspections of pumps, valves, and motors, and fix malfunctions found.
- 4Store and handle chemicals and hazardous materials per OSHA rules, tracking usage logs.
- 5Monitor and reset automatic security systems, repair broken locks, and manage key issuance.
- 6Respond to guest maintenance requests within 15 minutes, resolving issues on first visit.
- 7Patch drywall, paint touch-ups, and caulk to keep public areas and guest rooms guest-ready.
- 8Clean and service cooling towers and condensers each season to prevent breakdowns.
- 9Coordinate with vendors for warranty repairs on kitchen and laundry equipment.
- 10Document all work orders in the Maintenance Connection system daily.
Requirements8
- 11+ year in trade work or training in mechanical, electrical, or HVAC repair.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent certification.
- 3Working knowledge of hand tools and power tools for assembly and repair.
- 4Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders up to 20 feet.
- 5Valid driver's license for errands and off-site supply pickup.
- 6Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays on rotating shifts.
- 7Basic computer skills to log work orders and read equipment manuals.
- 8Physical stamina to stand or walk 8 hours per shift and handle hot/cold environments.
