Overview

You will own maintenance and repair for a 100+ room hotel, ensuring guest satisfaction and safety. You will report to the General Manager, working with a small team to keep the property in top condition. This role stands out with $22/hour pay and full-time benefits after 60 days. You will work onsite in Nashville, Tennessee.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Inspect rooms and identify repair needs, then complete room checkout procedures (strip room, remove trash, PM room).
  • 2Install or repair sheetrock and wall coverings, paint designated areas, and fix furniture.
  • 3Replace light switches, receptacles, bulbs, and fixtures; install and program televisions.
  • 4Handle minor plumbing tasks, including tracing and repairing water lines.
  • 5Replace and repair heating and cooling pumps, perform preventative maintenance on HVAC units.
  • 6Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment.
  • 7Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records, and ensure work meets local, state, and Federal codes.
  • 8Monitor guest satisfaction scores and follow Service Recovery Guidelines to boost satisfaction.
  • 9Notify the General Manager of major repairs or equipment needs.
  • 10Follow OSHA standards and wear protective safety equipment.

Requirements5

  • 13+ years as a maintenance engineer or similar role.
  • 2Skilled in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs.
  • 3Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • 4Ability to multitask and handle high-volume workload.
  • 5Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
