You will work under the Chief Engineer, learning preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and capital expenditure planning. What You'll Do9
- 1Learn and demonstrate maintenance of property assets, including preventive maintenance and equipment repairs, under the Chief Engineer.
- 2Respond to guest requests with a friendly and positive manner, using knowledge of hotel property and common area repairs.
- 3Assess property assets through preventive maintenance and recommend maintenance solutions to managers.
- 4Execute all engineering standard operating procedures, collaborating with the Chief Engineer.
- 5Work as a team player, contributing to other departments when necessary to meet guest needs.
- 6Complete assigned duties inside and outside the engineering department scope.
- 7Maintain a clean and safe work area, complying with brand, local, state, and federal regulations, and use personal protective equipment when needed.
- 8Follow all procedures for guest and associate incidents, and stay knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures.
- 9Produce required work volume by planning, organizing, and prioritizing duties as directed by the Chief Engineer, and adhere to attendance and work rules.
Requirements5
- 1High School diploma or GED required.
- 2CPO and appliance repair certification desired, or ability to obtain certification based on property needs.
- 32+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
- 4Attention to detail and customer focus, able to perform duties in a fast-paced environment.
- 5Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds on a regular basis throughout shift.
