What You'll Do10
- 1Build and set up manual lathes and mills to produce components per drawings
- 2Design and fabricate simple fixtures for machining operations using measuring tools
- 3Inspect parts for dimensions and surface finishes to ensure conformance
- 4Perform advanced setups and tool offsets with touch settings
- 5Ship parts on schedule by monitoring quality and process stability
- 6Drive preventative maintenance on machines to minimize downtime
- 7Operate and adjust OKUMA lathe ES-L10 programming where applicable
- 8Read technical drawings including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- 9Collaborate with quality and engineering to implement process improvements
- 10Document setup and inspection results for traceability
Requirements10
- 1Minimum five years of machining experience in manual lathe operations
- 26+ years of CNC Lathe set up experience
- 3Broad knowledge of machining techniques and programming
- 4Proficiency in cutting tools and measuring equipment
- 5Ability to read technical drawings including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance
- 6Experience with inspection tools like micrometers and calipers
- 7Familiarity with Okuma CNC Lathe ES-L10 is a plus
- 8CNC programming skills are preferred
- 9Onsite full-time in Conshohocken PA
- 10Contract to Hire arrangement
