CNC Lathe Programmer, Mastercam & Live Tooling
Overview
You own programming and setup for CNC Lathe machines on 1st shift, machining parts to customer specs. You work with Mastercam and live tooling to produce precision components. You join a team that pairs engineering backgrounds with practical machining to solve complex manufacturing problems. With 10+ years of experience, you take charge of quality and efficiency from day one.
What You'll Do8
- 1Program CNC Lathe machines using Mastercam, including live tooling operations.
- 2Set up and operate a variety of CNC Lathe machines to machine parts per customer specifications.
- 3Validate machine settings by measuring positions and first-run parts, adjusting to hold tolerances.
- 4Inspect and measure machined parts with gauges, micrometers, and calipers to meet blueprint specs.
- 5Monitor dimensions during production and make in-process adjustments to maintain quality.
- 6Document actions by completing production and quality logs as required.
- 7Keep the work area clean and organized, following all safety and quality directives.
- 8Support additional duties as assigned to keep production moving.
Requirements7
- 110+ years programming, setting up, and operating CNC Lathe machines.
- 2Proficiency in Mastercam for programming, including live tooling.
- 3Skill with gauges, micrometers, and calipers for precision measurement.
- 4Ability to set up CNC Lathe machines and make program edits as needed.
- 5Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
- 6Solid understanding of CNC programming to verify parts meet requirements.
- 7Capability to multitask in a manufacturing environment with minimal supervision.
