CNC Lathe Operator III
Overview
Lead CNC Lathe Operations managing machining tasks at high volume. Oversee production of product parts and tooling items while ensuring quality standards. Provide leadership and technical expertise to achieve operational goals.
What You'll Do11
- 1Plan and execute CNC machining operations using various machine tools and fixtures
- 2Load programs and edit offsets and code to produce parts within specification
- 3Manually program and edit coded programs on machine controllers or desktop computers
- 4Operate manual machining centers when required
- 5Utilize measuring equipment such as micrometers calipers and CMMs
- 6Read and interpret CAD drawings to understand part geometry
- 7Measure and inspect parts according to specifications
- 8Perform and document process inspections
- 9Maintain clean and organized work area
- 10Collaborate with team members to solve production challenges
- 11Adhere to safety protocols and maintain equipment
Requirements5
- 13-5 years of CNC lathe experience
- 2Ability to read blueprints
- 3Fanuc control experience
- 4Live tooling preference
- 5Mastercam proficiency preferred
Salary Insight
$62 - $83k per year
