Overview
You will own the implementation, administration, and support of enterprise and cloud infrastructure services at a Durham, NC site, operating Dell server platforms, NetApp storage systems, and VMware virtualization technologies. You will work closely with a team of engineers and report to the infrastructure manager. What You'll Do6
- 1Deploy and configure Dell PowerEdge servers and NetApp storage arrays for new projects.
- 2Administer VMware vSphere clusters, including VM provisioning, performance tuning, and patching.
- 3Troubleshoot hardware and storage issues affecting production systems, resolving within SLA.
- 4Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions using NetApp Snapshots and replication.
- 5Document infrastructure changes and maintain runbooks for operational procedures.
- 6Onboard new systems into monitoring tools and set up alerts for proactive response.
Requirements6
- 15+ years supporting enterprise infrastructure with Dell servers and NetApp storage.
- 23+ years managing VMware vSphere environments in a production setting.
- 3Hands-on experience with SAN protocols (FC, iSCSI) and RAID configurations.
- 4Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
- 5Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks.
- 6Ability to work onsite in Durham, NC for 5 days per week.
