Human Resources Business Partner I, Manufacturing & Compliance
Overview
Own end to end employee relations within a 24/7 manufacturing environment at RAUCH with a focus on legal defensibility and consistency. Partner with plant leadership to align people practice with operational goals across shifts, while driving workforce planning and talent development. Collaborate with legal and cross functional teams to manage sensitive matters and ensure regulatory compliance. This role blends advisory responsibilities, process improvement, and data driven decision making to shape culture and performance.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead complex employee relations investigations and disciplinary actions end to end to resolve issues consistently across shifts
- 2Prepare and review corrective actions, PIPs, separation documentation, and investigation summaries with legal and business stakeholders
- 3Partner with legal counsel on high risk matters and advise plant leadership on effective, compliant resolutions
- 4Coach leaders on performance management, documentation, and change communication during restructuring and process improvements
- 5Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics and translate them into actions for leadership
- 6Administer leave programs including ADA, FMLA, and workers compensation with carriers and providers
- 7Maintain employee data and processes in SAP and Paylocity and support audits
- 8Develop policies and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent practices across sites
- 9Support external audits and regulatory reviews including SMETA and customer audits
- 10Collaborate with HR Generalists and cross functional partners to implement continuous improvement in HR programs
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2Five or more years of progressive Human Resources experience in manufacturing or high volume operations
- 3Experience partnering with leadership on employee relations investigations and performance management
- 4Experience supporting a large workforce across multiple shifts and a 24/7 operation preferred
- 5Experience with workers compensation, ADA accommodations, FMLA, and leave administration preferred
- 6Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- 7SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
- 8Proficiency with HRIS such as SAP or Paylocity and Microsoft Office
- 9Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- 10Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
