Group Coordinator Lead, Warehouse & Logistics
Overview
Oversee and coordinate warehouse teams in a weekend night shift environment at a major logistics facility. Lead daily task assignments and shift schedules, train associates, and ensure accurate receiving and inventory control at scale. Your role combines hands-on supervision with a working lead mindset, serving as the first point of contact for the team and reporting to the Supervisor.
What You'll Do6
- 1Lead and supervise warehouse staff, assigning daily tasks and shift schedules
- 2Train new associates and support cross training to ensure upskilling
- 3Ensure accurate receiving of goods and maintain inventory integrity
- 4Manage put-away, inventory, receiving, shipping, packing, staging and order selecting workflows
- 5Monitor production, provide feedback, and support adherence to customer standards
- 6Open/close and secure facility, report unsafe conditions and communicate best practices
Requirements5
- 13+ years in a progressive supply chain, logistics, warehouse or distribution role as a Team Lead or similar
- 26 months experience operating stand-up material handling equipment
- 3Experience with cherry picker, sit-down, clamp, and electric pallet jack is a plus
- 41 year experience in inventory control including cycle counts and inventory discrepancies
- 56 months experience with a Warehouse Management System or similar systems such as JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, SAP
