Logistics Lead I, Warehouse Operations & SAP
Overview
You will own shift safety, productivity, and team performance for a 40-hour week at RK Logistics Group. You coordinate cross-department workflows and drive Lean improvements across Phoenix operations. You mentor a team of hourly staff and act as the escalation point for systems like SAP and WMS. What You'll Do10
- 1Mentor team members and deliver advanced training to ensure role clarity and alignment with department goals.
- 2Lead by example in professionalism, punctuality, and work ethic to set the standard for the shift.
- 3Delegate tasks and monitor team performance to hit daily quotas and quality targets.
- 4Enforce compliance with SAP-driven workflows, WMS processes, and safety standards.
- 5Drive continuous improvement using Lean and 5S principles to reduce waste and increase flow.
- 6Run daily performance reports in SAP and Microsoft Office to track metrics and address discrepancies.
- 7Process SAP transactions (RTS, NCI, SRK) and manage ticketing systems for inbound and outbound shipments.
- 8Coordinate with engineers and internal departments to resolve operational issues in real time.
- 9Support inventory accuracy through monthly counts and crate/box/cleanroom bag ordering.
- 10Maintain strong customer relationships during site visits and serve as the point of contact.
Requirements10
- 12-4 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or distribution operations.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent; advanced certifications a plus.
- 3Forklift certification with experience on sit-down and stand-up equipment.
- 4Hands-on knowledge of SAP and WMS systems for inventory control and shipping.
- 5Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) for reporting and communication.
- 6Understanding of Lean, 5S, and 7S methodologies to drive process improvement.
- 7Strong math, writing, and verbal communication skills for daily reporting.
- 8Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and handle physical tasks like climbing and kneeling.
- 9Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to sudden operational changes.
