GPO Implementation Specialist, Healthcare Supply Chain & Onboarding
Overview
GPO Implementation Specialist at CHC will own the end to end onboarding for new HealthTrust GPO partnerships, coordinating cross functional teams to deliver a seamless implementation. You will serve as the central point of contact for new member projects and drive the workplan from start to finish. This onsite Plano role emphasizes relationship management, data gathering, and process improvements to accelerate transitions while delivering an outstanding customer experience. You will collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Analytics, HealthTrust, members, distributors and suppliers to ensure success.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and own the Implementation Work Plan for new members including Salesforce setup, data gathering, and status updates to internal and external stakeholders
- 2Coordinate cross functional work streams (medical surgical pharmacy food and others) to hit milestones per plan and streamline process flows
- 3Design and implement improvements to the Implementation Work Plan to speed up transitions and enhance member experience
- 4Adapt project processes to each customer supply chain operations and procedures while maintaining project timelines
- 5Communicate real time status updates to stakeholders and escalate obstacles to leadership as needed
- 6Collaborate with Contracted Distributors Wholesalers and internal teams to ensure smooth connections and accurate documentation
- 7Provide executive level reporting on project progress and risks to the VP Supply Chain Operations & Implementation
- 8Serve as a reliable technical resource across company management and partner relationships
- 9Support connections for distribution pricing and savings documentation during implementation
- 10Obtain missing paperwork from members to complete agreements and ensure successful onboarding
Requirements10
- 1Healthcare Industry: 4 years of experience in the healthcare supply chain
- 2Project Management: 2–5 years of project management experience
- 3Bachelor’s Degree
- 4Project Management: track multiple projects within timelines with minimal direction
- 5Supply Chain Knowledge: purchasing inventory management procurement distribution contracting capital equipment and automated systems
- 6Communication & Presentation: strong interpersonal skills with executive presence and emotional intelligence
- 7Analytical Skills: intermediate analytics with MS Excel Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
- 8Software Proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- 9Agility & Drive: ability to thrive in a high profile fast paced team environment
- 10Collaborative and proactive with strong relationship management and process development
