Overview
The Floater Teacher will support multiple classrooms across The Learning Experience Forney, serving as a flexible educator who assists lead teachers and engages children at scale. You will contribute to a nurturing environment, adapting to various classroom needs and age groups. You’ll collaborate with a team to design engaging activities and communicate progress with families to reinforce learning goals.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build engaging activities and support lesson implementation across classrooms.
- 2Engage children in educational play to foster social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- 3Monitor safety and well being of all children in the facility.
- 4Provide individualized attention to children as needed, adapting to diverse learning styles.
- 5Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that promotes learning.
- 6Collaborate with team members to develop and implement creative lesson plans.
- 7Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress.
- 8Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent; early childhood education coursework preferred.
- 2Experience with children in a daycare or educational setting.
- 3Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.
- 4Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to different classroom environments.
- 5CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willing to obtain.
- 6Passion for early childhood education and a nurturing demeanor.
- 7Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
- 8Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence.
