What You'll Do10
- 1Plan and implement classroom activities based on program-specific curriculum
- 2Prepare and implement individual educational plans for each child
- 3Supervise and interact positively with children while maintaining a safe environment
- 4Develop and maintain learning centers reflecting children's interests
- 5Provide diverse experiences emphasizing active learning
- 6Ensure supervision and adherence to organizational policies
- 7Facilitate parent meetings and participate in annual in-service training
- 8Recruit train and supervise parents and volunteers
- 9Maintain clean facilities and promote enrollment through outreach
- 10Complete all required paperwork promptly
Requirements10
- 1Child development teacher permit or relevant degree with specified units
- 2Three semester units in administration with C grade or better
- 3Current pediatric CPR and first aid certification
- 4Health screening and TB clearance within required intervals
- 5Proof of immunizations for TDap MMR whooping cough and influenza
- 6Clear live scan background screening
- 7Mandated reporter certification training renewal
- 8Effective written and oral English communication
- 9California driver’s license and automobile liability insurance
- 10Spanish Cantonese Mandarin or Vietnamese proficiency preferred
