FCCH Bilingual Family Engagement Coach
Overview
The FCCH Bilingual Family Engagement Coach leads family engagement initiatives within the Family Child Care Home program. This role drives ERSEA processes and supports families to achieve lasting change. It focuses on strengthening connections between families and community resources.
What You'll Do11
- 1Implement ERSEA procedures ensuring compliance with Head Start standards
- 2Recruit and enroll families while maintaining full enrollment levels
- 3Conduct eligibility determinations and verify required documentation
- 4Prepare educational materials for classroom activities and visits
- 5Maintain accurate participant records and monitor documentation
- 6Perform ongoing assessments using ASQ-3 and ASG-SE tools
- 7Assist providers in developing and evaluating intervention plans
- 8Coordinate with partners to collect and submit required documentation
- 9Document child progress and adjust plans based on observed outcomes
- 10Facilitate family orientations and partnership-building activities
- 11Organize events and meetings supporting family engagement
Requirements8
- 15+ years experience building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- 3Education: BA in Education Early Childhood Development Social Work
- 41-3 years working with families and children aged 0-5
- 5Reliable driver's license and automobile insurance
- 6Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- 7Physical stamina to move around offices and classrooms
- 8Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
