Data Manager - Educational Alliance
Overview
Data Manager at Educational Alliance leads governance data quality and protection. Partners with School Leadership team and compliance staff to improve core data assets and meet regulatory requirements. Supports strategic department goals.
What You'll Do16
- 1Review child and personnel files quarterly to keep documents current
- 2Collaborate with ERSEA committee to update Head Start and DOE eligibility
- 3Maintain digital files for preschool children using One Drive
- 4Manage data entry process and conduct quarterly QA in ChildPlus and DOE Vendor Portal
- 5Troubleshoot data and report-related problems
- 6Work with Research team to collect impact data appropriately
- 7Communicate data trends to program leadership for service adjustments
- 8Run reports for agency dashboards and funder documentation
- 9Identify data needs and modify databases as required
- 10Perform performance tuning and diagnose database errors
- 11Assist staff with daily database queries and reporting
- 12Merge duplicate entries and correct data entry errors monthly
- 13Collaborate on compliance measures for Head Start Performance Standards
- 14Support audits and inspections by following up on findings
- 15Build respectful relationships with staff children and families
- 16Maintain mandated reporting responsibilities
Requirements14
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
- 3ChildPlus experience required
- 4DOE Vendor Portal experience a plus
- 5Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- 6Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- 7Comfortable interacting with parents and colleagues
- 8Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities
- 9Adherence to strict deadlines and proactive planning
- 10Prior experience in DOE Upk Early Head Start Head Start School Age Child Care preferred
- 11Knowledge of MS Office and basic computer skills
- 12Ability to maintain confidentiality
- 13Grant writing experience preferred
- 14Bilingual Spanish Mandarin Cantonese a plus
