Owns maintenance and repair of municipal buildings and electrical systems at scale across city facilities. Leads hands-on electrical troubleshooting, thermographic inspections, light fabrication, and equipment installs in a collaborative public works team. Works on a standard 4/10 schedule with after-hours on-call coverage.

What You'll Do5

  • 1Build and perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs across city facilities to ensure safe, compliant operations
  • 2Inspect and document thermographic scans per NFPA 70B and identify faults for remediation
  • 3Fabricate minor components and install equipment to support facility infrastructure
  • 4Schedule and coordinate routine maintenance with trades teams to minimize downtime
  • 5Support after-hours emergency response on a rotating on-call basis

Requirements6

  • 1High school diploma or GED
  • 2Two (2) years of directly related facility maintenance or trades experience
  • 3Valid Arizona Class D Driver's License upon hire
  • 4Ability to pass Police Department background check
  • 5Within 12 months: EPA Universal Certification, Level 1 Thermography Certification, OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Card
  • 6Within 18 months: Electric League of Arizona Building Operators Certificate
