Overview
You will own maintenance and repair of building systems across a large commercial facility in Phoenix, covering HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and controls. You will execute preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and compliance checks while supporting an energy management program. You will mentor peers and lead by example. What You'll Do10
- 1Repair mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems to keep facility operations running.
- 2Maintain building systems to standards, including HVAC and plumbing, through inspections and corrective actions.
- 3Ensure IATA hazardous goods shipping compliance by managing classification, packaging, labeling, and documentation for air shipments.
- 4Align with all applicable codes and company directives for building operations and work safety.
- 5Run an energy management program to optimize system efficiency across the facility.
- 6Execute preventive maintenance schedules to extend equipment life and meet performance targets.
- 7Perform emergency repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems with minimal downtime.
- 8Follow safety policies for hazardous material storage, usage, and disposal.
- 9Inspect fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing systems to verify design capabilities and client environmental conditions.
- 10Mentor team members in advanced problem-solving, applying CBRE RISE values for collaboration.
Requirements8
- 14-5 years of job-related experience with a High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma.
- 2Universal CFC certification preferred.
- 3Valid certifications or licenses as required by local or state jurisdiction.
- 4Prior shift management or supervisory experience preferred.
- 5Ability to meet physical demands: stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift 50 lbs or more.
- 6Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and prior CMMS experience preferred.
- 7Strong organizational skills and a curious, analytical mindset.
- 8Sophisticated math skills for calculating percentages, fractions, and financial figures.
