Mobile Engineer, HVAC & Building Maintenance
Overview
You will own maintenance and repairs for retail sites in the Quincy area, covering HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems. You'll operate from a fully equipped company vehicle with provided tools, fuel card, technology, and uniform. Working with CBRE's Building Operations team, you'll ensure facilities meet client standards and equipment stays within design capabilities. This role offers stability with a Fortune 500 employer and clear performance expectations from day one.
What You'll Do9
- 1Oversee maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, structural, and control systems to keep facilities up to applicable standards.
- 2Review building inspections, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, to ensure equipment operates within design capabilities and meets client environmental conditions.
- 3Manage work orders by providing estimated time to completion and required materials, demonstrating effective time management and organizational skills.
- 4Maintain truck stock inventory to ensure adequate supplies and tools are always available.
- 5Execute preventive maintenance work orders to extend the rated life of building machinery and systems, and handle emergency repairs as needed.
- 6Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives for building operations and safety.
- 7Operate company-issued vehicles safely in daily work responsibilities.
- 8Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles to solve complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
- 9Lead by example, modeling behavior consistent with CBRE RISE values and building consensus among team members.
Requirements7
- 1High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience; combination of experience and education accepted.
- 2Universal CFC certification and valid driver's license required.
- 3Ability to meet physical requirements: stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
- 4Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple information sources.
- 5Willingness to adopt new perspectives on existing solutions.
- 6In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and Apple products, including Word, Excel, Outlook; Service Channel experience is a plus.
- 7Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
