What You'll Do10
- 1Perform hands-on repairs to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety systems within the first 90 days.
- 2Maintain building systems to applicable standards and fix issues as assigned.
- 3Ensure compliance with IATA hazardous goods shipping and receiving regulations, including classification, packaging, labeling, and documentation for air shipments.
- 4Align all work with local codes, regulations, governmental agency rules, and company safety directives.
- 5Run an energy management program and adjust systems for maximum efficiency.
- 6Implement a preventive maintenance program to extend the life of building machinery and systems.
- 7Respond to emergency repairs immediately and follow response protocols.
- 8Safely store, use, and dispose of hazardous materials per departmental policies.
- 9Inspect fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing systems to verify they operate within design capabilities and meet client environment requirements.
- 10Mentor junior technicians and lead by example in line with CBRE RISE values to foster collaboration.
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
- 2Universal CFC certification preferred.
- 3Certifications or licenses required by local or state jurisdictions.
- 4Prior shift management or supervisory experience preferred.
- 5Able to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift/carry 50 lbs or more.
- 6Exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple information sources.
- 7Willing to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
- 8Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and prior CMMS experience preferred.
- 9Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive attitude.
- 10Advanced math skills to calculate percentages, fractions, and other financial figures.
