Electrical Foreman, District Maintenance & Electrical Systems
Overview
Oversee day to day operations of a district electrical team in centralized maintenance with a focus on safety, compliance, and timely work orders. Lead budgeting, project planning, and coordination with contractors and inspections to support school facilities. Drive quality through training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. This role differentiates by combining field leadership with budget management in a public school environment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and assign work orders using FMX to ensure timely completion
- 2Manage and evaluate electrical team performance and safety compliance
- 3Plan, estimate, and prepare quotes for PUSD electrical projects
- 4Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and inspectors to obtain approvals
- 5Review blueprints and project plans for code compliance and accuracy
- 6Provide training for team members and assist site administration with electrical project planning
- 7Monitor electrical inventory and order parts to support projects
- 8Carry out annual performance evaluations for team members
- 9Respond to electrical emergencies after hours and on weekends
- 10Assist other trades with electrical issues related to projects
Requirements5
- 1High School Diploma or GED and completion of formal electrical apprenticeship or five years of journey level electrical experience
- 2Arizona driver license and ability to pass fingerprint/background check
- 3May be required to obtain/maintain Arizona Electrician License with applicable certifications
- 4Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work in various conditions including overhead, trenches, or outdoors
- 5Experience reading schematics, blueprints, and project plans and applying trade codes and standards
